While Matt was running on a bridge over the river, he has an asthma attack.
Who came to help Matt and Chacho?
A woman and a man, Consuela and Guapo, come to help them.
Where were the boys taken?
They were taken to the Convent of Santa Clara, Matt's original destination.
What day was being celebrated? Purpose?
El Dia de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead), a day to honor the deceased among one's ancestors.
Where were the boys going to be taken to?
They were going to be taken to the hospital at the Convent of Santa Clara.
How would the boys go undetected?
They would wear skull masks, which many people were wearing as a part of the Dia de los Muertos celebrations.

An elderly woman and her brother came to Matt and Chacho’s rescue, flying them into town.

The boys were first taken to a cemetery, the abbey were Maria was staying.

The holiday being celebrated was Dia de los Muertos, or day of the dead, a celebration of those who are dead.
5. Where were the boys going to be taken?
The boys were flown to Maria’s abbey, which was also a hospital.
6. How would the boys go undetected?
The boys flew to the hospital in the man’s hovercraft.
